The EASIEST Eat Clean meal you will ever make!

Now that it is zero degrees outside and it gets dark at 4:30pm, I'm in mega comfort food mode. Also, considering I am now a large woman who waddles, I need some good food that is good for me, too as I come to the end of this journey.

My freezer is packed with clean recipes that I've made over the last 3 months for when the baby comes. I don't want to dive into them yet, so when I was grocery shopping I was so thrilled to come across this:

All the veggies you need for a delicious, hearty soup- washed, cut, and ready to eat!

I was so excited I ripped into the package without taking a photo first. President's Choice has come out with two versions of this home-made soup: Potato Leek and Butternut Squash!

All that's in it is potatoes, leeks, onions, and carrots. All chopped for you. No preservatives. Nothing added.

Add 1 carton (900 ml) of whatever broth mix you'd like, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Then blend.


I'm all about making time to cook clean, healthy meals- but who doesn't love when it's already done for you?? I literally only added the carton of broth and some fresh ground pepper, and this was delicious. Perfect for stormy, snowy nights or for a 3pm snack in your favourite mug!

Easy, peasy, clean, YUM. Now, if someone could kindly come up with a way to experience childbirth on my behalf, that would be great. And, um... soon would be amazing. Thanks.

  3. You said you packed your freezer with "clean" food. Do you have recipes? Usually Make-ahead freezer meaks are heavy and loaded with fat and calories. Please share if you can. Thanks!!

  6. Just tried the butternut squash one and it is my new fav!! Im feeling a little guilty because I bought the 3 packages that the grocery store had and batch froze them... hopefully they get the hint and order more!
